What costs less: a taxi for two from LGA to midtown Manhattan or the cost of two Airporter bus fares (or SuperShuttle)?

My friend, the taxi fare is cheaper. The two of you can split the cost.
For example, if your cab ride from LGA to Midtown cost $45, you and the person traveling with you can each pay $22.50.
If you want to go cheaper, you can take the Q70 bus from LGA to Roosevelt Avenue-74th Street, or the M60 Select Bus Service to Astoria Blvd, where transfer can be made to the subway.

We are going to land after rush hour next Thursday and proceed to 32nd St and Broadway. What is the approximate cost of each of the following ways?
- Take a taxi for two
- Take the Airporter to Grand Central and make connections to the destination
- Take the SuperShuttle

NYC cabs charge for time and distance ; not the number of passengers

One way that you can reduce your cab fare is to use the Queens Midtown Tunnel and pay the EZ-Pass rate of $5.33 rather than the 59th Street Bridge

Is the AirTrain not an option? It'll cost like 8 bucks.
