ACA is a federal law that affects all health insurance. You can buy insurance if you fit into one of the categories here. You wont find it any cheaper. If you make $24K per year you would have qualified for a big subsidy on the premiums.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) does not require you to get your insurance through the market place.

There is no "ACA insurance" and "regular insurance." ACA is a law. Policies are either ACA-compliant or not.

how would regular insurance cost you any less - a basic health insurance plan costs at least $400-500+ a month for a single person

You can't bypass a law. You can either buy insurance on or off the exchange. The end.

Its just like your taxes now, death is the only way out.

You can look up brokers selling in your state and buy from them, but you would not qualify for any subsidy.

The ONLY way you can avoid the ACA is to die. The Democrats really did a number on personal freedom. Didn't they?
