Not at all obvious... given Jesus said things like "Judge lest ye be judge" and "love thy neighbor as thyself". The only part of the bible which dictates a hate of homosexuality is the Old Testament (specifically the part which Jesus railed against)

So, you're saying that Jesus Christ would be accepting and approving of homosexuality and would involve himself in furthering the homosexual lifestyle of two men? No. I don't think so. But he also wouldn't hate them, as the homosexual activists assume is the case with Christians who oppose or simply will not participate in fostering the homosexuality lifestyle. You can disagree with someone, not take part in their efforts, without hating them. I don't approve of my parent's divorce, but I certainly do not hate them nor would I participate in their attainment of that goal.

Why is hate so often seen as basis for disagreement?

Not all. I was under the impression that Jesus loved everyone.

I think Jesus would ask whether the bed has to be fabulous.
