I have a 2003 Stype Jaguar which has got a hand brake fault?
recently the hand brake warning light and bleeper came on, and I have no hand brake. How to fix it
I know where the handbrake switch is, there is an electronic fault come up and I cannot get the handbrake to work

'Champer' is right. These electric parking brakes are a specialized piece of kit that needs an experienced eye.
Try and find an independant Jag specialist likely to be a lot cheaper than a Jaguar main dealer.
Ignore ridiculous advise from Dr Bearsface. No Ford dealer will be interested in an 'S' type Jag (that is absolutely nothing to do with a Mondeo). How many Mondeo's had electronic parking brakes?

How to fix it depends on precisely what the fault is, and there's nowhere near enough information to determine that.
But ALL S-type Jaguars have handbrakes. They're a mandatory requirement worldwide although they can alternatively be foot operated such as on the Mercedes Vito. Some older Jaguars used to have the handbrake between the driving seat and the door rather than on the central transmission tunnel, and I've no idea whether the S-type continues that tradition.

This is one of those blasted electronic ones, isn't it? Apart from checking wiring I don't know what you can do other than get a dealer to look at it. Apparently the software can "have a moment" if the battery is low or you manage to spin the wheels with EPC engaged.
