Protestants: What do you think of Dr. Scott Hahn (Former Protestant Minister turned/converted Catholic theologian/evangelist)?
Hahn has helped convert hundreds if not thousands of people from Protestant churches to the Catholic Church. He has been dubbed "Luther in reverse."
A large number of Protestant pastors and Bible scholars have followed suit in converting to Catholicism
"My studies have led me to realize that we are privileged to read the sacred page within an unfathomable community: the communion of saints, the voices of Catholic Tradition, the great cloud of witnesses from all of history. Our guide is the Holy Spirit, working through the Church's Magisterium."--Dr. Scott Hahn

I was listening to one of his cd's this morning on my way to work, he is truly brilliant, one of the most gifted speakers I have ever heard. I was curious to see if you've ever heard of him.
I think the Holy Spirit is calling many

He and I were going through our conversion process around the same time and for a lot of the same reasons. It was a much greater leap for him being a Presbyterian (Calvinist) than it was for me being a former Moravian. He needed to be greatly blessed to change his life long soteriological beliefs while with me that was a baby step rather than a leap of faith.
I admire his devotion to the Church and his intellect and I understand that in our common conversion that it must have been every bit as difficult for him as it was for me. However, in the end the suffering was swallowed by our love and devotion to Christ and His will that we be one in unity in His Church and not the man-made counterfeits which have some truth and great error. We were both humbled by the Holy Spirit coming into our hearts and mercifully guiding us to the fullness of truth in the Catholic Church. Many of us who are academicians fight against this call because it most often ends our careers and alienates our peers and professional colleagues from us. With me I also lost lifelong friends and family. He and I are just two of many academicians who have come home to the Catholic Church. He and I have been truly blessed by Jesus calling us out of false teaching into the fullness of truth in Christs own Church. God bless!
In Christ

I know Catholics are more honest than Protestants Susanna LIVES was never Catholic being she never was confirmed in a prior post she made she said she left the Catholic Chruch at age 12 which means she never completed her Catechism.
A wolf in sheep's clothing is another word for Protestant, there is only one Catholic Church when Protestants emerged they were the denominations.

He's ok. I also sometimes watch Father Robert Barron as well. I think that whatever branch of Christianity you are apart of(Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant) if your committed to Christ that is good enough for me. I don't think we should be divided along denominational lines anyways

I could care less which denomination someone is as long as they believe in being born again as Jesus instructed by believing in His work on the cross. If they want to abide by other man made traditions and rules...knock yourself out. I personally find no freedom in that and Jesus said He came for freedom's sake. He also harshly condemned the religious leaders of His time for loading down people with rules.I also think its misleading to claim that many are "converting" to catholicism. The same could be said about many "converting" from catholicism.
