Will UKIP still be a relevant political party after 2020?

http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-34565597

The EU referendum is going to be held in 2017, so either way it goes, that will be the end of the matter.

The Tories have took on board many of their further right policies, except immigration of course, Tories have allowed in even more immigration than Labour under Blair and Brown lol..

What will be UKIP's selling pitch after that?

With the current migrant crisis UKIP is becoming more relevant every minute.

In 2020 they will become the second major party in Britain/Europe. Last time they got 4 million votes. Next time watch this space.

Well I can't see it going quietly into the night no matter what happens from now and 2020, so yes, they're still be around and relevant.

But I can see em losing all their MEPs by the time the 2019 European Parliamentary Elections come round, lol, (I can't believe what some people post), because if Britain's votes out of the EU, Britain itself won't have any MEPs.

But, they won't as some have suggested be the biggest or even the second biggest party but I suspect after Labour gets its act together and deals with the SNP (like it should and will in time) and the Lib-dems become even more irrelevant than what they are today, UKIP will have a fair chance of being the third biggest party in Britain.

But it'll never be in a position to form government on its own, coalition with the Tories maybe, but on its own, never, well not at least for another twenty years, and twenty years in politics is just about never.

Several factors would have to come into play.

Firstly UKIP will have to reform itself as it's main agenda has always been the independence of the UK from the European Union,

So if the United kingdom- or possibly just England and Wales? We're to become independent then the main message of UKIP will no longer be valid. I'm sure many UKIP supporters would be happy with this achievement, but would they really want to go scurrying back to the neo liberal conservatives? UKIPS best bet may be to try and reinvent a one nation Tory philosophy which is a traditional form of Conservatism.

Secondly if they unite with other parties in constructive talks to reform the British electoral system you may find in the long term the neo liberal conservatives are destined to insignificance.

UKIP stands for many more things other than the EU. My feeling is even if they manage to get a note vote the government will be trying to reverse, We will need UKIP for many years to come.My only concern is Nigel Farage failing to get himself a Westminster seat,he must soon.

Yes and the current level of immigration aflicting the nation can still be put down to labour

I think UKIP has had its day.

It will only ever have a minority support.
