Christianity and Trump. Isn't it hypocritical to say you "support a Christian agenda" and be anti-refugee or anti-immigrant?

"Do not ill-treat or oppress a foreigner; remember that you were foreigners in Egypt. Do not ill-treat any widow or orphan. If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to me, I will surely hear their cry, and my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword"_Exodus 22:20-24.

"Do not ill treat foreigners who are living in your land. Treat them as you would a fellow-Israelite ,and love them as you love yourselves. Remember that you were once foreigners in the land of Egypt"_Leviticus 19:33-34

The Bible seems pretty darn clear on it's stance on refugees. How people can say they support a Christian agenda and be against refugees and migrants amazes me. Jesus in Parable of the Sheep and Goats(Matthew 25:31-45) list one of the reasons why people don't enter heaven "I was a stranger but you would not welcome me in your homes, naked but you would not clothe me"(Matthew 25:43).

Many politicians identify themselves as Christians since religion is a tool for the easily manipulated.

Do you know where the term "illegal immigrant" and "border patrol" come from? How about "green card"? I didn't just make these phrases up. We've always had laws and regulations about foreigners just wandering into our country and claiming to be citizens. There is a process. It isn't a new thing Trump just made up. Most of what he has proposed is that we adhere and enforce to these rules which were designed not just for our protection, but the protection of other countries as well.

Let's say a new government takes control of Belgium and everyone in Belgium packs thier bags and heads for the USA. It's puts a huge strain on US tax payers and is destructive to Belgium as the people who can afford to migrate are generally the ones who can make a difference in the governing structure and the ones who can't afford to migrate tend to be the ones who suffer most under an oppressive government.

Its not refugees, it's extremists we don't want getting in. Really, how hard is that to understand?

In fact refugees getting persecuted by the Muslim extremists are getting top priority.
