Llamas next door.?

Maybe they will get a flock of sheep next those aren't bad to live around. Llamas aren't that bad either. Both better than goats who get out and do all kinds of damage.

Hopefully they will be fine, most things with animals depends on their owner taking good care of them and being a good neighbor through such care.

Llamas will never replace the view of a nice herd of horses or cows though.

Leave the llamas some space and they will be fine.

Some neighbors are just negative, nosy and gossipy.

When they say something bad about my other neighbor to me, I always wonder what they say about me when I'm not present. It's best to keep your words sweet for you never know which ones you may have to eat. LOL

Llamas spit. With insufficient provocation.

Tell your neighbors to wait it out and in couple of years those Llamas will probably be gone once the owners realize that they've bought into a pyramid scheme. Alpacas, same thing.

People jump into this without realizing that they can only make money buy selling the scheme to the next set of fools. Our area in full of former horse stables, switched to former Alpaca/Llama farms and then out of business. At least horses are nice to look at!

Llamas can be surprisingly aggressive.

Alpacas are more peaceable, with one/two llamas used as guard animal(s).
