Is there any lawyers on here?

Ok so I have a hospital bill almost 7 years ago and now they are just garnishing my wages on my paycheck.

Only reason why I didnt wanna pay it because I went to hospital for ingrown toenail and first time around no problem.. less then 2-3 months later i tried to have another removed but all they did was drain infection when i clearly stated i was the nail removed! I could of drained infection on my own!

I have to go to court around the end of the year but i thought by then i would have have all the itemized stuff and etc. Which i do have itemize paperwork, is there anything i can do to bring it down or have them write it off?

No, there is nothing you can do at this point. You should have disputed it long ago. Regardless, it would not have helped. You allowed them to drain it so they are entitled to payment for their services. They obviously felt that removal was not in order. The doctor has a right to use his own judgment about treatment. You are stuck with the garnishment.

Way too late for that. I would need more info but in most cases, they can legally garnish your paycheck if you are indebted to them.

I play a lawyer sometimes on YA.

Most states have a statute of limitations on debt repayment of 7 years. I'd wonder why you waited so long to worry about it though. Just pay the bill of a few hundred bucks or let it go to collections and forget about it. In any case, go to the hospital and explain your case to anyone willing to listen. They may drop the bill or remove some charges (especially if its a Catholic hospital).
