    Look at the insurance costs. A WRX will cost a fortune to insure for a new driver.

    either of the Honda's. Civic would likely be most reasonable. I got a 2011 Honda Civic used in 2013 for under $15,000 with around 40,000 miles on it. still gets great gas mileage.
