Is there any law against using crash protection as foot-pegs on a motorcycle ?

I have some Evotech frame sliders on my bike and on long trips it helps alleviate muscle ache and joint pain to put my feet up on them like you would a cruiser.

There is the obvious implication that my left foot has not got immediate access to the rear brake, but most of the breaking power is at the front brakes anyway.

I recently completed a long trip and doing this and didn't have any problems. Interestingly, I seem to be able to corner more fluidly, especially at high speeds.

Any thoughts ?

Update:

Lol, just to correct myself: My "Right" foot doesn't have immediate access.
