Why is fast food breakfast sandwiche bacon so chewy, like rubber bands? Is crispy, easily chewed bacon expensive?
I like bacon egg and cheese biscuits, but Mcdonalds, Hardees and esp Burger King all have Very rubbery chew forever bacon. Why never crispy easy to chew bacon?

They use microwaves to heat it which makes meat rubbery. Fast food was so much better before it became faster food. They actually used grills and worked at it.

The Bread dries it out
Putting it in a Microwave helps, about 20 seconds
Makes the Bread fresher too

overcooked.

Actually it depends on the way it's made. They make bacon the most cost effective way possible, not to anyone's liking. My first real job at 19 in college was Arby's, we cooked bacon in bulk baking it. Bacon was nice and crisp.

Because it is not really bacon, but rather strips of paper towel dipped in bacon grease then curled with a curling iron and painted to resemble bacon.

they probably just cook it really quick, using less time they required, it probably just takes more time to cook crispy bacon

Lack of over cooking.

Because it's not fresh, and serving food that is fresh can't be done quickly and people want/demand that when they want fast food.
