Did anyone besides me detest the Dr. Who debut episode?

I am still hooked on David Tennant, Matt Smith, and Peter Capaldi.

10th, 11th a& 12th....Doctor Who

In my opinion, the seasons get better with time, with the exception of the latest one with Jodie, it lost the essence of Dr Who.

I didn't mind it... I mean, I don't think I liked it as much as some of the other seasons, but I don't think I would mind watching the rest of it.

detest? A little strong, all enthused and happy about it? Not really. But, as my daughter(who has grown up watching it) and I discussed, it always takes a little bit when going from one doc and companion to another. They guy takeing teeth trophies, hell. That isn't anything new on our own planet. There were a few too many political shots, I'll give you that, but I'm willing to overlook them for now, see if they drop them along the way. As far as who they knocked off, it had nothing to do with race, they are about as diverse as they can get at this point, so chill.

First of all the Doctor has NEVER regenerated without the help of the Tardis, and they completely left it out of the show!! WTF!! Next, the Doctor is many things, but indestructible he is not. So falling out of the sky, through the roof of a subway car and then popping up and saying "hi!" is totally unbelievable. The aliens--OMG BAD! An oversized Hershey kiss and a guy with battle armor and a cryomachine on his back who takes the teeth of the people he kills for souvenirs! Next, a 19 year old who can't RIDE A BIKE? Seriously?!! The Doctors companions are supposed to make us care about them. I didn't like Donna but she was a great character! I came to love and hate her. But these 4 people, I could care less about. And since 4 is too many, let's bump off one--the black one. SHOCKER! I won't be watching ANY of this seasons Dr. Who! Boycotting bigtime!
