- Hiking/biking (San Dieguito River Preserve including Mule Hill and Lake Hodges trails, Lake Wohford, Daly Ranch, Kit Carson Park).

Culverts. Crawling into them
finds things that hide from
daylight. A good thing too
as some seem intimidating.
Downstream exits of longer
passage are often bigger
than upstream entry. Do
not be there in wet weather.

Depends on what you like. There is plenty of shopping. There are parks and children's museums for kids. Safari Park is there. Nature close by. The desert is an hour away as is Julian. Take the Sprinter to the beach.
