Are Main-Stream Movies with visible strong sexual references a "Turn-on" or a "Turn-off" for you?

Depends how it is done and whether the scene contributes to the story is is just gratuitous. Sex scene in "Eye of the Needle" was critical to the story. Also, the sex scene in "The Terminator" was essential to show the kind of passion and love machines (like the Terminator) could never have or experience. "Blue is the Warmest Color" - those sex scenes made the movie more intense and added to the story. Watch "Body Heat" from 1981 or "Body Double" from 1984. At the time, those movies were considered over-the-line, but by today's standards most of everything is implied, not actually shown. I will say this, for whatever reason, it seems 99% of actresses have to go topless at some point in their careers. Even Julie Andrews did it. Sandra Bullock is the only modern actress I can name that has never gone topless.

If I were all "woke" and "triggered" and stuff, I'd say 'turn off' because that would be expected. But I'm just a guy looking for entertainment, so I say that other than hard core, sexual references can add to the story and move it along nicely.

It depends on whether or not the sexual reference is needed in the overall plot or style of the movie.

Neither, I just enjoy a well-made and acted movie.
