Why is the Queen's ex butler so sensitive and lacking in a sense of humor?

Single parent family. The single parent drank to forget. He got forgotten.

He has spent most of his adult life working as an extra on "the last of the summer wine", and very slowly, by degrees, he lost his tiny little mind. This is the reason he has NO humour in him, like most of his yahoo buddies.

I too, thought it was due to him having, at the very least, Asperger's syndrome but, with his obvious learning difficulties, it is probably much more than that.

The Queen has so many butlers that the is bound to be a sour one. I knew one who had a sense of humour,which thar the Queen enjoys, (so did her mother).

I suspect he's on the spectrum.
