why doesn't my pc recognize my mp3 player anymore? But any other device works in all the ports?

Update:

whenever I plug my mp3 player in, I get this reading:

F:\ is not accesible . The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable

But if I plug anything else in any of the ports, it works fine.

I tried all the ports.

Restarted my pc

Used fix me stick and my other antivirus, etc

(I don't have another pc to plug it into to try)

Update 2:

I've also tried 2 cords

You can always try this open up device manager go to where it says USB at the bottom of the page and reset all of the hubs and then plug in the MP3 player it's likely that the cord going from the MP3 player to the computer is bad.
