Am I wrong to assume that space, time and gravity is all the same, all working together?
But unlike space and time, gravity affects matter?

Space time idea came from Minkowski based on a cone model. It basically alludes to the motion of galaxies changing orbits while they are all moving at the same angular velocity.
.
The substance of Space was created in order to hold all mass structures together. Thus there had to be a mechanism to cause motion within the volume of space.
This mechanism is called gravitation which causes things to move.
How fast things move is defined by Time.
Space determines structure.
Time indicates motion.
Without the gravitational phenomenon nothing moves,
No gravity ,no time, no obstruction

Wow. Dude, these answers are messed up.
Einstein told us space and time ARE ONE THING (called "space time").
*shakes head* If you really want to know try two thinsg:
ONE subscribe to the JPL newsletter (thats NASA) they will send you a couple emails weekly, aprising you of allt h neatl shlt we're doing in sopace.
TWO: documentaries, yourtube.
from there, the emails from JPL will kind of lead you top be studying this stuff
and over a year or so you may earn a decent idea of what and where you are ;)
(Find COSMOS too..it's old, but..man..a great introduction Carl Sagan gave us in the 80's...

Yes, you are wrong. Space and time are two different directions in a 4 dimensional spacetime manifold. Gravity is the curvature of this manifold. Gravity doesn't actually affect matter. It curved spacetime and matter follows a geodesic path thru that curvature.
