Bike tips. I’m new to this.?

I’m new to riding a bike. I could use some tips or if there is a video can you link me it. Tips on how to move a bike threw a door by yourself easily. I always just cram my way threw. There has to be a better way. Should I wheelie it? Lol. But in all seriousness. How do you manage?

Maybe you come from a country where the word "threw" has a different meaning. Here in the USA, "threw" is the past tense of THROW. You want to throw your bike past a doorway? Or push your bike THROUGH a doorway? 🤔 I have to go up or down a few steps to get my bike in or out of the basement area in the apartment. Don't get in a rush. One hand on the handlebar. The other on the saddle (seat) or seat-post.

The #1 thing to remember on a bicycle is that it's a legally defined VEHICLE. You have the same right to be on streets as any car, truck, bus or motorcycle. In a narrow lane situation (at or less than 14 feet wide) you have the right to use the FULL LANE. Always ride at least 5' away from the curb. A) You avoid road debris which can cause a flat tire. B) It gets you SEEN by motorists. C) Most times it will prevent the dread "right hook" where a motorist passes you & then immediately makes a sharp right turn DEAD in front of you. Always go around parked cars leaving a 5' space also. Not every one looks before opening a car door. Start by reading this... http://www.bikexprt.com/streetsmarts/usa/
