Why do those who fear Atheism seem to attribute theirs to Atheists?
to ban, fear, persecute, hate or blame which all seem to be the hallmarks of their beliefs?

Most of it here is just trolling.
Out in the real world when this happens it is usually a combination of repeating lies they have been told, and being too stupid to think about what they are actually saying.
