Is 4,000 EUR a good salary to live in Netherlands?

I got a job offer to work in Netherlands (Eindhoven area) for 4,000 EUR net per month. Is this a good salary for a family of 4 (my wife, me and 2 boys in University)? Thanks!

    Doesn't sound bad to me....if you can find affordable housing and don't have expensive hobbies

    It's a bit on the low side for that part of the Netherlands.

    Did you ask them what your take home would be? That seems fairly minimal. I've seen people looking at housing in Amsterdam, and 1000 a month was pretty much bottom line. It might be less in Eindhoven. But things are expensive in the EU.
