    Not literally, anyway. However, the SE corner contains most of the Okefenokee Swamp, huge and biologically fascinating.

    No. I've been there. I spent some considerable time around Americus / Plains. I drove diagonally across the state on mostly back roads. I saw a swamp or two but the vast majority of the landscape was not swamp. There is indeed a large swamp called the Okefenokee that straddles the Georgia / Florida line but it only makes up a small part of the state.

    No. It has wetlands, forests, farmland, mountains, valleys, cities (duh like Atlanta), etc.

    Yes. Georgia drained Florida's swamp and defeating them by a score of 36-17.
