Up is down in space and what goes up must come down. That's never been proven wrong.

"What's out there?" would be correct to say. There's no up or down, right or left when you leave Earth. Yes, there's a sky with birds flying, clouds, and space with its celestial bodies. I wouldn't bet, however, on an existing multiverse (other universes besides the one we know of).
