Uber or Lyft?
I live not in the sticks but in a non urban setting. Can uber or lyft drivers turn me down because they may have to drive 15 minutes to get to me?

Yes. Don't know why they would, though unless the roads are bad or something.

Absolutely. The way those services work is that you signal that you need a ride, and they accept it or not. If they feel like it's too far to be worth it for them, they just won't take it.

Uber/Lyft drivers are NEVER required to accept a ride. They are private citizens, driving privately owned cars, they can always choose not to claim a ride and they can even cancel a ride after picking you up
