Just don't agree with your poor definition of "great". Liberals want America to be better than that.

They aren't. Trump is not the answer for that unless you mean great for rich white people

Because we realize it's just a slogan for Trump's campaign!

We also realize ignorant conservatives ignore how Republicans started the downward spiral of America. They did it by betraying the American manufacturers who helped make America the greatest nation on earth! They did it by allowing foreign companies to flood our markets with cheap inferior products. Because of low wages and raw materials overseas the foreign companies had unfair advantage!

Well, before Trump was elected I felt that America was already great. Trump comes in and says "Make America Great Again". So, that implies that it was not great at the time (which I disagreed with) and it was better at some time in the past.

So the obvious question was: "During what time frame did you feel America was great?" Most republicans would just stare when faced with this question. I would point out that *great again* implies that at some time in the past it was great and now it is not. So again, when in the past was America great?

A few would answer "The 50's were great". And I would ask "What about the 50's was great that is missing now? Is it the complete and total racial segregation that existed? Of how isolated the middle class was from the poor?"

    So, I now ask you:

During what time period was America great?

What qualities existed then that are missing now?

What is your exact plan to "Make America Great Again"? It is a great slogan I suppose, but actions and not words is how you solve problems.

Back in 2016, a poll was done of likely Trump voters.  One of the questions asked Trump supporters was "Name the year the U.S. was last great?"  The number one answer?  2000.  That was at the end of Bill Clinton's presidency.  Seriously, Trump supporters have absolutely NO idea what they're talking about.

Are you implying that it wasn't always great? Liberals don't say such things. Apparently, conservatives DO. Funny, that.

Because lately everyone who says that these days is just making it suck.

Because their definition of "great" differs from your definition.
