If Willy Wonka and his chocolate factory were real, how much money would you spend to try to find a golden ticket?

Update:

On Wonka bars, I mean.

Read up on the California gold rush and see what people did once gold was discovered there. It makes people make stupid decisions.

I d buy a couple of chocolate bars. That s it. I wouldn t "try to find" a ticket. Your argument is like people that try and work out the winning lottery ticket by picking numbers that haven t come up in the lottery for a while. They don t understand that the whole point of the lottery is that it s random. The numbers that came up last week have just as much chance of coming up again as any other numbers.

There will only be one ticket per country so my chances are improbable.

Sometimes, I wonder how Willy Wonka maintained his perfect teeth.

His real name was Wanka and that was the secret ingredient.

There's no definitive answer. In neither the book or the film adaptations is it mentioned how many Wonka bars were sold in total during the hunt for the golden ticket. To add to that, we do not know the cost of the separate products Wonka sold.
