There is lots to see and do in Tasmania. As well as remarkable history and scenery, Tassie is famous for its food. There are many craft beers being made and at least two dozen gin distilleries making some of the best gin anywhere. Try McHenry's sloe gin.

Just about every town and village and most national parks have camp grounds where you can stay so don't worry about finding somewhere to park the car. The Australian Antarctic Division is based at Kingston, about 17km south of Hobart, and that is well worth a visit for the museum there. A replica of Mawson's Hut from his 1911-1914 Australian Antarctic Expedition is in Hobart not far from Salamanca Place where the markets are open on Saturdays.

There's a page here to help find campervans https://www.campervanfinder.com.au/campervan-hire-...

Tassie has some magnificent walking trails, here is information about ten of them https://www.spiritoftasmania.com.au/blog/top-10-ta...

If you are a keen walker I highly recommend the Three Capes Walk.

You can go to the MONA Museum that hosts the Cloaca human turd machine.  Yes, a machine that simulates the human digestive tract and produces simulated human turds.  I've always wondered whether it produces simulated farts too?
