Why is it that anonymous people will come here posting their ignorance and insecurity?
and then tremble in fear of those who are more than willing to inform and educate them with honest answers to their questions?

Those who post anonymously simply are ashamed, embarrassed, afraid, or otherwise unwilling to identify themselves. Frequently they are the very opposite of what they pretend to be by their question or answer. For example, "Why are Christians so gullible?" may not be written by an atheist at all but a Christian trying to make atheists look simple-minded. Or, "Why are atheists so ignorant?" my be written by an atheist trying to make theists look bigoted.
In any case, the anonymous user is unwilling to take responsibility for their question and that's why they are anonymous. So they can post ignorant, bigoted, politically insensitive, or offensive questions or answers, some will have a second account for this purpose rather than post anonymously. That way one avatar can have one personality and the other avatar can have a different one.
Personally, I never read comments or questions posted by someone who will not identify themselves.

I encountered that once. Those people can be charming though.

like YOU know everything MORE than everyone else? sounds like the sin of pride to me. im never anonymous, and i probably KNEW more in 1 minute than You have learned your entire life. but i dont know what your bragging rights are either. so, there has to be more communication to know your perspectives.

You'd not know what honesty is, even if honesty hit you in the teeth.

All joking aside ( @ KaleyK...Good one!) That's a very good point. I believe it says something about our culture, and what it says isn't good.

There is this thing ... it's called the internet. People can go on the internet and post the most ridiculous things. True story!
