When people on here ask if something is "okay", do they mean according to people's judgement or according to an objective reality?

    Probably another person's judgement.

I think that they are looking for a very 'loose' and general

affirmation so that they can try to get away with something.

It might be one or the other or it could be both, I guess it just depends on the situation.

You know I never thought about it that way. I thought when I ask if something is okay, I’m asking for ppl’s opinions or judgments. But the right way... it should be according to an objective reality.

Having said that, I always value some users’ opinions no matter what they based it on.

    I don't know, ask them.
