why is sacramento overlooked by other cities?

when people come to california to visit or find a place to live sacramento is often overlooked and by san francisco bay area/los angeles/san diego as if sacramento that little 2.5mi metro to the north east of SF is non existant. storys about the struggle in california people leaving some just to neighboring states like nevada and arizona are pretty popular. its completely personal and up to the individual but the facts show that sacramento doesnt come to mind for people maybe in la or bay area. Alot of people are leaving la for vegas for cheaper life. the medium home price is only $30k more then sacramento with milder night temps, insanely smaller crime traffic is on par. doesnt rain a whole lot below national average 269 sunny days just 20 below vegas. why do you think sacramento is not the average persons choice?

We like Davis, CA, better. Just a little south. The causeway traffic is horrible.

Not aware of any city that overlooks Sacramento. When most move they look over many places and select the best for their wants and needs.
