Do christians still think that thunder is god being angry?

    My 8 year old son was not a Christian when he made this remark as we drove along in a lightening storm, with loud thunder rapidly following.

    "It's God taking flash photos and grumbling at the results" he chirped.

    Honestly - nobody prompted him! (Around 1979.)

    I think you may be a bit confused. When Yehovah, God the Father, speaks it sounds LIKE thunder.

    That's silly; Christians never thought that. The ancient Greeks and Romans thought thunder came from angry gods.

    Christians have a boogeyman they blame everything bad on.
