Is the Netherlands safe now?

I am in Amsterdam now, and I heard recently that the virus broke out in Europe. Is it safe to go out now? Or is it better to stay at home?

There are 503 reported cases in the Netherlands, with 5 deaths. If you are a young adult, you are at very little risk of having anything more than cold or mild flu-like symptoms. The disease is mostly deadly to those with underlying medical problems, especially heart and lung problems. Wash your hands and don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth until you've washed them thoroughly.

At march 24, it is still not safe. Stay at home and have social distance of at least 1.5 meter when you have to go out.

No, you shouldn't go out. You have to keep at least 2 metres away from other people, if you do. But best not to go out at all if you can avoid it.

You are as safe as you were before the media blew things out of proportion. If you are sick stay home, If not, go about your day & wash your hands frequently.

Unless travelling is unavoidable, it's probably best to avoid travelling at the moment irrelevant of where you're going - there may not be many cases in the Netherlands, but travellers alongside you may be coming or going from many other locations
