Can a kid start school at age 5  and be in preschool?

    I don't know what you're talking about. In the US, kids start kindergarten at age 5. Preschool is for 3-4 year olds.

    In most states, children must be 5 years old by late summer or fall 

    in order to enroll in kindergarten.
