How does portland afford so many strip clubs?

Alot of them have actually closed over the years, Along mcloughlin to the portland city limits i think there are only two left, The gold club used to  called the dolphin and the acropolis.

"Portland" does *not* afford so many strip clubs.  Strip clubs are relatively more common than in other places in the U.S. because there are fewer restrictions against them.

The biggest advantage is that Oregon's constitution and Supreme Court declares public nudity one way of exercising free speech—not a crime or misdemeanor like so many places.

Easy, Portland is a US Navy training port. It's actually at the mouth of the Columbia River, not the Pacific Ocean. Something about 5 ports and tricky navigation, all Navy ships have to train there, I heard. Probably if they have a completely new crew? 

There are a lot of wealthy people in that area, too, but I think it is mainly the Sea-men.

Housing? There's no room for it. Oregon is very different than anywhere else. Look at a map of Oregon and you'll notice there are North-South strips- Ocean, population, national forests, mountains, farmland, desert to the Eastern border.

Housing prices are dependent on cost of living and who your daddy is, where he's from. There's no room for expansion.  

Perhaps it's easy to get a liquor license in Portland.

Strip clubs have nothing to do with the number of rich people. Strip clubs usually attract desperate middle-class and working class men.
