I'm looking for a way to transfer printed lettering to a wood surface. Any suggestions?
I essentially want to print something on a wood surface, but without using any fancy equipment. Is there a way to print to a special kind of paper or something and transfer the ink to the wood and then lacquer over it?

If you have an inkjet printer, there is a simple process you can use:

Potato print? Slice a potato in half and cut out your shape in reverse. Dry it and ink it up.
