Doesn't it piss you off that people are having thanksgiving despite Covid-19?

No one said you can't celebrate Thanksgiving, just follow your local guidelines and keep yourself and your family safe.  Don't be a cry baby, and be thankful if you haven't lost anyone to this dreadful pandemic.  Stay safe and God bless, just be thankful and know the end of these times is near.

No more so than when people decide to drive their car off a cliff. I live in a state where wearing a mask in public places is mandated so the risky behavior people choose to engage in privately is of no concern to me. I've probably already had one of those atypical cases of covid anyway, so likely have some degree of immunity.

Great sit your miserable sad sack at home then and let others have fun. You don’t get to dictate what others do

What’s the difference between any other night that family sits at a table and eats food?

No. You are not obligated to follow "rules" made be people who don't follow the rules that they themselves set or endorse (especially when those rules are illegal or unconstitutional).

How DARE you lecture people for getting together with their families, while a blind eye was turned to looting, plundering, arson,  assault, and in some cases murder.

It's perfectly fine to ruin the lives of average law-abiding Americans, calling them "Grandma Killers" (and worse), .But it's OK to be criminal?

You are a hypocrite and a communist.

I am making a dinner for the household members only we are not going out nor is anyone coming over! So yes it does! I look at it this way you are not canceling Thanksgiving, by not having people over or not going to other peoples homes, you are simply being safe. Do you need to listen to people no, but if you want to be dumb and risk getting sick or spreading it to friends and family, go for it. Yes I am from the US but I am not stupid to risk it. Why be around people when you don't know who does or doesn't have it, they could have symptoms, that look like that, a cold/flu, allergies, or no symptoms at all. So to everyone saying to you, who are you telling me who I can have in my house, THEY are the ones asking and wanting to get sick and possibly kill themselves and others, but being oh I can do as I want I am American. Guess what you can, but does being American mean you won't get sick or die, no it doesn't. How many American had it and is getting it daily let alone dying, I am sorry but I do not agree with stupidity about I am an American WHO THE HECK CARES! I agree with the person who asked this, as a nurse the CDC is already saying gathering will spike the virus rates drastically.
