Make Up My Own Religion?

So easy to set up a religion if you are clever enough to make shyt up and delude people.  Hey, and people want to be deluded!

Look at all the happy, deluded people in church.

There are enough religions already and sad for those who just make one for a business because God sees that and very grateful that so many ministers are helping with food banks so there is enough food and it is Trump who have been promoting food banks during the Covid.

It is not so difficult.  All you need is to be quick witted, a sharp mind and a slick tongue.  You need all these ingredients to fool the people by giving them what they desire by your talks.  Study the lives of those who have followers and you will find the same pattern.

There already is a religion for worshipping the moon; it's called Lunacy.

WHAT SHOULD SINCERE PEOPLE DO? Jehovah cares about people who love what is true and good. He urges them to leave false religion behind. People who love God are willing to make changes to please him. Read revelation 18:4. In the first century, when sincere people heard the good news from the apostles, they responded with joy. They learned a new way of life from Jehovah, a happier way of life with a purpose and hope. They are a good example for us today because they responded to the good news by putting Jehovah first in their lives. Read 1 Thessalonians 1:8,9; 2:13. Jehovah welcomes into his family of worshippers those who turn away from false religion. If you accept Jehovah's warm invitation, you will receive his friendship, a new and loving family of fellow worshippers of Jehovah, and everlasting life. Read Mark 10:29,30, 2 Corinthians 6:17,18. Why not? Hundreds of other people have done so, many of them based on beliefs as wacky as yours.

Your idea, your problem.

Start by making up all the rules and the story about why the moon is so special and should be worshipped. 

Have the material printed into books for your "church".

Then get followers that you can convince that this new religion is real.  

Gather enough followers. If you have few followers, it'll probably be considered a cult. If you get a lot of followers, people will have to accept it as a religion.
