Are theme parks open in Orlando? Looking at booking a holiday to Orlando from UK. ?

The theme parks are open with greatly reduced capacity.  Furthermore, you are required to quarantine first before being allowed to visit.  10-14 days.  So there goes your two weeks 

Whether that will still be the case next summer, who knows.  

Check with a travel agent (if there are any left). I live in the Orlando area, and all I know is the theme parks around here are operating on limited openings, few on-site hotel/ motel rooms, and drastically reduced staff. And by the way, don't listen to Robert. We've got a governor who's more interested in kissing the behind of Donald Lame Duck than doing what he can to keep the 22,000,000 of us safe from a disease that's infected the equivalent of 1 out of every 22 of us, and has killed nearly the same number of people who live within the city limits of Orlando!

I'm in the UK too and I was planning on going to Orlando in 2021 - but there's no way I'd book anything now!  For one thing, we don't know what's going to happen here.  A travel ban could be brought in again and we may not be permitted to fly anywhere.  People in the USA may not want foreign visitors until the crisis is over.  Also, infection rates in Florida are HUGE!  The parks might close again at any time.  Leave it another year!

Yes, the theme parks are open.   The Orlando area does not have that lazy, entitled, lockdown culture that California politicians have.  I live in Orlando and do not know of one person who has or had Covid. 

Even if it is open now, it might not stay open.  Or you might not be allowed to travel from the UK to the U.S.  Don't book it -- if the villa or the theme park travel from the UK to the U.S. closes, you've wasted what you paid for the other two.

Also, COVID rates are very high in Florida.  Is this trip really worth getting infected and maybe losing your life?

Universal and WDW in Florida are open. My friends are at WDW right now. WDW has shorten hours and you must make a park reservation. Park Capacity has been lowered significantly.  No park hopping is allowed right now. Some restaurants are closed. And I don’t think all resorts are open. There are no parades or fireworks going on right now at WDW. Also no character meet and greets. 

I HIGHLY recommend staying at a WDW resort or villa, even if you plan on going to Universal and other attractions. My friends went to NASA last week. So some other attractions are open right now.

Disneyland and Universal in California are closed.

No one knows what next summer brings. Make sure to have traveler’s insurance. 

It's probably slightly too early to be able to guarantee whether normal holidays will be possible for any part of 2021 yet.

When ? You do realise that the US is over run with Covid, no vaccine there yet and travel is restricted. You really want to put your kids at risk?
