As he was returning home to kiss his goodnight from a recording session, that hours before, signed an autograph for that same man, who you have to assume stayed around the whole entire time, until John Lennon returned with his wife, in which whether or not he did or didn't call, Mr Lennon and shot him right outside the Dokata, where they lived, and he managed to get up until the lobby where he said he was shot. Where you watching Monday night football, when Howard Cosell made the official announcement that he had been shot, either case John Lennon didn't live very long, after being shot and you might think he was already dead on arrival by the time, the police got him to the hospital, as they didn't want to wait for an ambulance.
