Why is the name "Grape Soda" considered racist?

I've never heard of that before and didn't realize it was considered offensive. But no matter what you say, some group will always take offense. Guess we better just keep all our words very vanilla-- Ooops!

I feel like I'm going to flag all of you for talking about this!   Hahahahaha!  No, I'm kidding.   But beware of Disqus site, Newser and Amazon forum because they are flag happy for everything.   On Disqus if you say anything they or their Leftist crowd do not like or agree with,  your comments will be flagged as spam so you can no longer voice any of your views or defend your side.  This is our new PC, Leftist Agenda, Woke world, folks.   Woke....pfffft.   I think I'll go to sleep, wake me in 4 or so years when it's all over.

Well the woke swarm started by distinguishing by shading not by the people activities or convictions so I expect that we won't have the option to utilize the word grape and omg raisins will be gone to. However, the word saltines that the dark use recognize whites is alright

Only the beginning folks, only the beginning.  Black cop shoots white guy, nothing is said.  White cop shoots black guy, who refuses to stop, obey orders, shoots at him first.....makes the national news.  Only the beginning............

As has already been pointed out, it's likely because it's a stereotype. Just as watermelon and fried chicken, grape soda is a food/drink associated with some African Americans. Not sure why because,  I like all three too.

It's simple it's just another Jerk the rope because you can thing.  The stupid people that make decisions based on such garbage are the real racists.

I asked several people the same question and no one has any idea about it either!  This is just going too, too far.  Does that mean Dr. Pepper is practicing medicine without a license?  That ought to offend someone too.

Well the woke crowd began by identifying by colour not by the persons actions or beliefs so I expect that we will not be able to use the word grape and omg raisins will be gone to. But the word crackers that the black use identify whites is okay. 

It is a stereotypical black drink.  I dont see the offense in naming a horse.
