The only part of Georgia that is blue is Atlanta. Californians are most likely to be welcomed there. You might find that your somewhat less than welcomed in the rest of the state, although Southern Hospitality is very real and it would take a while before you realized that you would viewed as less then human by the locals.

You'll want to stick to the major cities because it's not like this isn't the state that elected Marjorie Taylor Greene to Congress. Just like California, Georgia is neither solidly blue nor solidly red.

If you like the big city Midtown Atlanta or Virginia Highlands if you like more of a suburban feel in a big Metro East Cobb or Sandy Springs and if you like the country but not to far from the city Stockbridge isn't bad and if you wanna be close to the beach St Simon Island.

You do that since it's a "solid" blue.
Trump lost by 11,779 votes out of the 4,940,000 votes cast
Ossoff won by 1.2% of the votes
Warnock won by 1% of the votes
Trump lost in California by about 5,100,000 votes.
Yep, Georgia is SOLID blue, if you are talking baby blue.
And California likes liberal politicians but not liberal policies.
The SCREAMED that loud and clear - Nov, 2020 and definitely has Newsom scrambling...
