Does my friend's feeling towards Disney sound petty?

My friend lives in Florida and I was wanting to visit him in about a year. 

However, during my stay I was wanting to visit one of the Disney theme parks I hadn't been to yet. 

But my friend is completely against Disney and says Disney's not getting any of his money. I've offered to pay his way and buy him anything he wants to eat, but he still refuses.

I have panic attacks so really don't want to go on my own, but my friend says he won't even drive me there. Any place else is fine though.

I agree with my friend that Disney is all about money nowadays; and they did ruin Star Wars. 

But while my friend does have a habit of being a bit of an ***-hat, doesn't his reason for not coming to Disney with me sound a bit immature and petty?

And no, there is no one else I can go with...  :(

    Kind of ridiculous.  All companies are about making money. Refusing to even drive you there is just being a jerk.  Maybe he did get banned. He is over reacting.  Fine if he doesn’t go to Disney, but why the drama?

    So go by yourself. A panic attack won't kill you. If you feel one coming on, pause, breathe OUT, and breathe in again SLOWLY. Repeat until the attack passes.

    And something many people aren't aware of: the physical act of smiling releases endorphins. Something about the interaction of the muscles. Simply forcing your face into a smile lessens the anxiety.

     It sounds like nonsense but I know it works.

    Don't let your friend spoil your enjoyment of the Disney world. He's entitled to his views, and you to yours.

    Don't let your friend stop you from going to Disney. Any time you feel anxious, just take a deep breath and relax for as long as you need.

    Sounds like your friend got banned from Disney. Yes, Disney is about making money, just like any other company. And yes, your friends sounds petty that he won't even drive you there. 

    Does he give a reason as to why he hates Disney so much? It can't be because they want to make money.
