Can't we punish China for what they have done to our world?

I've started boycotting Chinese restuarants in my country for starters and I hope everyone else does the same.

House Republican resolution urges US to boycott 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

A coalition of 180 rights groups around the world on Wednesday called for a boycott of next year's Beijing Winter Olympics because this communist regime has been egregiously committing human rights violations everyday.

Yes, but China owns the left wing of America,

The Biden's were paid by China for selling influence in our politics.

China unleashes a virus on the world

    China kills Americans

    China crushes the US economy

Senate passes $1.9 Trillion Covid bill (hint: only 10% goes to COVID related issues)

US borrows $1.9 Trillion for Covid bill from China.

I guess we showed them who is boss!!!!

Boycotting the Chinese restaurants will have no effect other than hurting your local economy. Those restaurants do more to contribute to your local economy. They don't send money to pooh-bear.

In the short term there is a few tools that can be used... economics is one of them. The long term is to promote reform to a democratic republic. That is going to happen one way or another.

china gave plenty of warning. They are not responsible for others's response. Many countries did much better than USA

We are so reliant on China for manufactured goods these days, we would really be stuffed if we boycotted Chinese goods, any don’t they know it.

As for boycotting Chinese restaurants, are you serious?

Are you insane or just trolling? China doesn't get any money from Chinese restaurants in the US.

And boycott for all the wars USA started? All the color revolutions? Arab spring? Even WWII was a result of a punishing Treaty of Versailles.(supported by USA)

But let us open our minds. Is Colombia responsible for USA's appetite for their cocaine? Did USSR create an atomic bomb to ATTACK anyone? USA had just used a couple and the best defense is to have the same capabilities as the one who seems to be your enemy, just after being allies.

What has China really done? They have been used as a dirty factory for Apple and Samsung and many others wishing to squeeze the biggest profit from US, THE CONSUMER.

Why boycott Chinese restaurants where you are? If they are run by Chinese people, they're not the same as the Chinese government, so you're just hurting local businesses (which benefit your local area - employment, business rates etc) for no good reason.
