I think i have contact hand dermatitis. Should I use moisturizing cream to help it?

First, you should try to identify what's causing your skin irritation.  Many moisturizers contain things that can irritate your skin.  So, I would recommend using nothing but sensitive skin products from now on.  This includes shampoos, soaps, laundry detergents, moisturizers, lotions, etc. 

Doing this should help improve the condition of your skin.

Since it's just on your hands, it's likely something you either regularly put on your hands, or use with your hands, that's causing the problem.  This includes hand soaps, lotions, materials such as latex (gloves), or chemicals.  It could also be from an animal (if you have pets) or plants (if you work outside). 

I would switch hand soaps to one specifically for sensitive skin.  If you work with or use chemicals, always wear gloves, and wash your hands well afterwards.  If you use latex gloves often, try vinyl instead.  You should also try taking a daily allergy pill, as they can help relieving the reaction to what your allergic to. 

That won't help. First, identify what's causing the problem and stop exposing yourself. If the skin is itchy or inflamed, use hydrocortisone cream. Don't put ordinary hand lotion on broken skin.

I would take MSM methylsulfonmethane.
