Let us say that the virus spreads through bites.

We need more information about the effects of the zombie virus and most importantly the type (Romero or Russo) of zombie. How can they be destroyed? How fast are zombies and how fast does the virus spread? ETC.
Romero (slow), the most common, would depend on where in the world you are. In Europe as one example, it would be a probable apocalypse. Except in Switzerland, the only European country that's not been disarmed. The British Isles, unless the virus and zombies were both extremely slow, would fall in days.
Russo (fast-very fast and hard to destroy) humans are doomed wherever we are. Except possibly, in the US where they are well armed and have virus expert Dr. Fauci to save them.

To the anonymous answerer - everything here in the alternate section is fictional, just play along with it.
The Chinese government would have glued shut the mouth of every citizen of Wuhan, apart from a tiny hole in the corner for the soup straw, so that even if someone caught zombie-ism they would be unable to pass it on.

As zombies are fiction, there can not be a "zombie virus" in the real world....
