what is the smallest size a 3d printer can print? (example: hard plastic material)?

    depends on the printer. different printers have different sizes of filament. smallest i've seen is 0.1mm, but the quality tends to be lower with narrower prints, so most people don't drop below 0.3mm. standard is 0.5mm.
