Can fish and sharks feel pain ?

Yes, fish and sharks have both nerve bundles and processing areas (which are brains in humans) so they can feel pain and react to pain.  

Science has shown that fish and sharks can feel pain. They feel it the strongest around their gills and mouth area. You can't legally own a seal (and you shouldn't anyway.) Some very small sharks are legal to own but its a very big commitment, needing a saltwater tank upwards of one thousand gallons.
