If two wrongs don't make a right, why did God send his son to be humiliated, tortured and brutally murdered to atone for the sins of man...?

IT IS OBVIOUS JESUS WAS WILLING TO DIE FOR US!!

Because humans messed up, but they can't repair the damage.  Only God can repair the damage. But the damage wouldn't really be repaired unless a human did it.  Hence God had to become human to repair the damage - and that includes enduring the worst the world has to offer and turning it into something good.  

Because Jesus was not a wrong

Its called Justice

The one wrong that God chose to put right was a wrong we were guilty of, but which we could never put right ourselves. So God, in Christ, became a sinless man to bear the punishment for the guilt of that collective sin. The Son of God so identified with suffering humanity, He became one of us, allowing Himself to be killed by sinners, even asking the Father to forgive them for torturing Him to death! Jesus knew what He was doing, and that there was no other way to once and for all deal with our sin so that those trusting in what He did could be freely pardoned by our loving but just God.

Read the Bible to see that there was one wrong, and only one way of putting that right. God, in Christ, chose to willingly bear the punishment for our sins, as there was no other way of once and for all removing our guilt. But you can mock such love if you want. Like the men who tortured Jesus to death, you may not know what you do. Do you think anybody will be praying to God for you, to forgive you, because you know not what you say?

Christians don't realize why their cult is ridiculous.

Try telling that to a judge about to deliver the sentence (which is the wrath of society) for your crimes.

Justice must be done.

There are always consequences for actions. Anyone who doesn’t think there should be consequences for actions needs to seek help. 

Jesus paid the price for your sins, crimes and evil in full.  If you reject the offer you will pay the price yourself.... and you won’t be complaining about it either. You will get exactly what you deserve.

He was the only person that could.

Because even god is not the absolute. There is something higher than god and god need to play by the rules.

If god is absolute, he wouldn’t need Jesus to suffer just to atone for man’s sins because his words alone would be law.

My research shows that your Jesus never existed, but if you wish to think he was real then that is your choice. However, I can't see a father sending a son to die for a bunch of people who have sinned based on another group of peoples' ideology. Also, if that son was revived then he paid nothing and it was all a joke invented by the Romans. @ daylily 61, but it is fiction, and you ought not think on it.

You forgot to mention sodomized.

He had Jesus Christ suffer an infinite punishment for sin in the quiet hours before his arrest to satisfy the demands of justice.  Where there is a sin, there has to be a punishment.  God had to balance a few hours of infinite agony for his son against the eternal happiness of this other human children.  God's love, justice, and mercy are all intact.
