Yes, and no. I find it funny you bring up your religion and LGBTQ+ rights, but specifically diss on homeschooling. If anything, Christian private schools should be defunded.

Your religion for too long has used the mistranslated line of "a man shall not sleep with another man" or whatever it was, when it was supposed to be man/BOY respectively, to upkeep widespread homophobia. It's rampant in your churches, within your preacher's hearts.

Even now it runs rampant in public schools. I've had to run from education method to education method just to try and survive, because of how harsh my social anxiety has been due to my sexual identity and autism. The harassment comes from the children you raise.

I'm now in independent study, on an anti-anxiety medication in hopes of just getting through my senior year of highschool. So instead of focusing on removing an education method that'd do more harm to disabled (mentally/physically) teens such as myself, focus on your religion's biases if you truly care about me and my community.

Home schooling has it's areas of not so good an idea, one they only learn what the family thinks they should learn, and not a set learning process. Then they do not develop their interaction skills with others which is even a greater draw back to them!

Schools nowadays don't teach children how to read a clock, they don't teach cursive writing, they teach about "White Privilege" (which doesn't even exist) and schools don't even teach how to do math the right way, among other things.

I'd rather teach my kids at home than have them indoctrinated into all the left-wing, woke, black-lives-matter crap that they have nowadays.
