Yes, I would be very bothered. Not only do I like elephants, but they are a natural choice to host cloned woolly mammoths, which I believe should be brought back from extinction.

No, only if it caused some butterfly effect and made some fruit or vegetable us humans liked to eat to become extinct but that is unlikely to happen.
I'd care if bees went extinct though for sure, honey tastes so good. :)
